FAQs

Q: How long do Banook Bagels last?

A: We recommend enjoying your bagels within 48 hours of receiving them. If you don’t get through them that quickly, simply freeze them!

Q: Can you freeze Banook Bagels?

A: Yes! Our bagels are excellent for freezing. We recommend storing them in a resealable storage bag, for no longer than 2 months to prevent freezer burn.

There are two ways to store and enjoy frozen bagels:

Pre-slice: Slice your bagels in half and toast from frozen when the mood strikes! If your toaster has a ‘toast from frozen’/defrost button, we recommend using this.

Freeze whole: Preheat your oven to 200C and bake your frozen bagels for 10-20 minutes. They should look golden brown, then enjoy toasted or untoasted, sliced or whole.

Q: How should I store Banook Bagels?

A: We recommend storing them at room temperature in the paper bag they are delivered in or a bread bin. If freezing, we recommend using a resealable storage bag.

Q: What allergens are present in Banook Bagels?

A: All bagels: Gluten (Flour and Barley), traces of Sesame, traces of Sulphites, traces of Milk.
